Not only is listening to yogic chant a relaxing and meditative experience, but chanting along is a powerful way to prepare oneself for childbirth. Chanting encourages diaphragmatic breathing, a relaxed throat/jaw, and confidence hearing your own voice. Chanting is an excellent way to calm a busy mind and invite peace into your sacred space. Included with these four traditional chants are two ancient lullabies with melodies composed by Stephanie. Lastly, you can enjoy a recitation of one of the most inspiring poems for parents: "On Children" by the mystic poet, Kahlil Gibran.
